Lab 4: Field Trip Assignment

Please write a one page (4 to 6 paragraphs - 400 to 500 words) about what you learned on the field trip to the former Marmot Dam. Write the assignment as a post on your blog. Used the knowledge that you have learned thus far in class to right about your field trip observations, and of course use your lenses of primary and secondary succession. Assignment due on Monday February 3rd, 2014, by 7:00 am.

Lab 4: Preparing for Field Trip

Lab 4 will be a field trip to the location where the former Marmot Dam. Please watch these two videos, one about "Ecological Succession" and another about "Marmot Dam Removal" prior the field trip. Write down two questions about Marmot Dam removal that you would like to be answered during the field trip.

  • Searched on Google Scholar:  clicked on the advanced search: Key works: haiti earthquake "enriquillo plantain Garden Fault": found several articles and the scientific article that I connected to the other article was: Complex rupture during the 12 January 2010 Haiti earthquake
